Feel at peace letting them go, and excited about what's next for you, too.
A 7-week Positive Intelligence® group for moms of high school seniors, starting Tuesday, February 9, 2027.
Senior year is a countdown. Applications, deadlines, decisions, and a lot of last times. You want to support your teen without hovering, trust them without worrying all the time, and somewhere in there, figure out who you are when they leave. This small group gives you practical tools to quiet the worry and the urge to take over, so you can enjoy this year and step into your own next chapter.
Does this sound like you?
You're carrying more than anyone can see
Everyone asks where your teen is going next year, but it can feel like so much pressure and weight to carry. You're celebrating and grieving at the same time, and it's a lot to hold.
You know you should step back, but watching them miss a deadline feels unbearable.
One minute you're close, the next you're arguing about curfews or college choices.
You catch yourself counting the last times: the last first day, the last game, the last family dinner as you know it.
You've poured so much into raising them that you're not sure what fills that space next.
Between their senior year, your work, your partner, maybe your parents, and your own changing body, there's nothing left for you.
If you nodded along, you're not alone, and there’s room to discover how things could look and feel different.
What's possible
Imagine handling all of this from a calmer place
Many of the big decisions from this year and beyond are out of your control, but you can have agency in so much of your own life. Over seven weeks, you'll build the mental habits so you can:
Offer support without taking over, and let them own their decisions.
Talk about college, money, and next year without it turning into a fight.
Let a text go unanswered without imagining the worst.
Be present for the last times instead of grieving them before they happen.
Trust that you've given them what they need, and that they'll figure out the rest.
Get curious about what you want for this next chapter of your life.
The result: a closer relationship with your teen as they launch, and a clearer sense of what's next for you.
Positive Intelligence® Program
What is the PQ® Program?
The PQ® Program from Positive Intelligence® is a neuroscience-based program that helps you break free from self-sabotaging patterns and build mental fitness through short, consistent daily practice. Most attempts at lasting change fail because they don't reach the root cause. PQ® goes straight to the mental habits that drive stress and overwhelm.
Why it fits caregiving: The worry doesn't wait for a convenient moment. PQ® gives you tools that work in the moment: when your teen shuts the bedroom door mid-conversation, or at 2 a.m. when you're wondering if you've prepared them for life on their own.
What you'll learn: Three skills that change how you show up
Catch your Saboteurs. Learn to spot the inner voices that make this year harder than it has to be: the Controller that wants to manage every application and deadline, the Hyper-Vigilant that imagines everything that could go wrong once they leave, the Judge that asks whether you did enough as a parent, and the Pleaser that has put everyone's needs ahead of your own for years. Once you can name them, they lose their grip.
Strengthen your Sage. Activate the part of your brain that brings calm, clarity, resilience, and creativity, so you can think straight when emotions run high.
Use your Sage Powers. Apply five core powers, Empathize, Explore, Innovate, Navigate, and Activate, to real situations with your teen, your partner, and yourself. For example, listening to your teen's college choice with curiosity instead of a counterargument, or exploring what you want for yourself once the house gets quieter.

Your Guide
I'm Danielle Baer, a certified coach (ICF ACC, CTI CPCC) trained in Positive Intelligence. I've always been the person others turn to for a calm presence and a safe place to land. I work with women in midlife who are navigating big transitions, and few are bigger than watching your child leave home. I’ve been through this process myself with my son who is now in college, and have learned through my friend community the wide range of feelings that show up - sometimes about our kid, and often about our own fears and past experiences.
In this group, I'll create a grounded, compassionate space where you can pause, breathe, and build the tools to support your kids goals without losing yourself.
FAQs
How much time will this take? About an hour a week for the program videos and activities, plus 3 to 4 minutes of daily practice and the weekly group session. The program is designed for busy lives.
What if I miss a session? I can set up a time for an individual time to touch base, and help guide you on how to stay current with the group.
My teen isn't going to a college. Is this still for me? Yes. Whether your teen is heading to college, community college, a gap year, work, or the military, this group is about how you navigate the letting go.
What if my youngest is a junior, or already graduated? You're welcome. Many of the same feelings show up the year before and the year after. Book a free conversation and we'll see if it's a fit.
Is this therapy? No. Coaching is forward-focused and practical. It isn't a substitute for therapy or medical care. If you're feeling numb, withdrawn, or depleted for weeks at a time, a therapist may be the right support, and some women find the two work well together.
Will I have to share personal details in the group? Only what feels right to you. The group is confidential and you set your own pace.
Is there a payment plan or sliding scale? Yes. I’m happy to work with you to find a payment option to make this experience accessible.
